K9data.com is an open database for retriever pedigrees. It is a fantastic resource for researching lineage. It also provides estimates of dogs' coefficients of inbreeding (COI) and listings of top contributing ancestors.

The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals provides information on breed-specific diseases and recommended screenings by breed.
